Scar & Tissue Treatments
Skin-focused work for scarring, congestion and texture — combining light therapy with the lymphatic techniques that help skin clear itself.
The skin's appearance reflects what is happening beneath it. Congestion in the tissue, sluggish lymphatic drainage and old scarring all show at the surface — and treatments that address only the surface tend to disappoint. This work combines light therapy over the affected tissue with lymphatic techniques that support the skin's own clearing processes.
The lymphatic facial
A gentle, highly specific massage technique moving over the skin to stimulate the lymph vessels just beneath it — the same Dr Vodder foundations Kylie applies elsewhere in the clinic, adapted for the face. It is oriented to decongestion: encouraging fluid and waste out of the facial tissue. Patients commonly book it for puffiness, congestion-prone skin and sinus-related pressure around the face. As fluid moves out of the tissue, many notice the face feeling lighter, with more definition through the jaw.
Combined with low level laser, the session also brings the light-based collagen and renewal support described in the skin regeneration treatment.
Scar-focused skin work
For facial scars and marks left by acne or injury, and for scarring elsewhere on the body where the concern is skin texture and appearance, sessions apply light therapy over the scar tissue across a course, with careful manual work around the area once it is fully healed. This overlaps with the broader scar management program in Pain & Recovery — Kylie will place you in whichever suits your situation at assessment.
The honest version
Skin work of this kind is gradual and cumulative. Kylie will tell you at your Initial Assessment what she believes is achievable for your skin, and design a course accordingly — and if she doesn't think she can help, she will say so.

Skin Regeneration Support
A gentle, non-thermal light facial designed to support the skin’s own renewal — no heat, no abrasion, no downtime.
Photobiomodulation
Photobiomodulation is the science behind the treatments: low levels of red and near-infrared light, applied to tissue, producing a biological response without heat.
