I always wanted to be in natural health care, so at the age of 16 I was the youngest ever to be accepted to study a Diploma of Naturopathy.

In my early twenties I worked at the Golden Door Health Retreat, where I assisted patients with initial consultations to determine the most appropriate program for the guests, and provided a range of body treatments.

I spent many years travelling different countries. Based in London, I worked in a large, well-established clinic in Chiswick and discussed patients’ needs and best outcomes with a leading team of professionals. I studied my Diploma of Reflexology in Kent and Wales, and then began my journey with Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Dr Vodder Method — studied in London and Walchsee, Austria, obtaining the highest level of qualification.

After many years and countries later I returned home to Australia via Nepal. Whilst in Nepal, on a trek through the Annapurna circuit, I was snowed in at Manang and not able to go to base camp. I introduced myself to the doctors at the camp, explaining my treatment of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and how I felt it could assist with altitude sickness. With the doctors’ and patients’ permission to treat, the patients’ altitude sickness reduced completely with just what I provided — no drugs and no decompression chamber. The team of doctors couldn’t believe it and I was asked to stay on with them, but I declined in order to continue my journey home.

Once in Australia I continued my studies over the years, completing diplomas in Remedial Massage, Aromatherapy and Herbal Medicine. I worked as a TAFE teacher for over 10 years, teaching everything from reflexology and massage therapy to nutrition and numerous body treatments. I loved teaching as much as I love providing treatments. I worked as project manager for the Katoomba beauty therapy department, which was exciting from planning stage through to staffing and running courses, and I ran a wonderful clinic in Sydney for many years with many therapists who each held their own expertise.

I now work on the Gold Coast at Mudgeeraba and I am ready to assist you in achieving health and wellness. Things I love to do include yoga, meditation, surfing and the gym — and I love travelling and new adventures.
