Tissue Recovery

Soft tissue takes time to heal — and swelling, congestion and guarding can slow it down. This work is aimed at supporting the conditions tissue heals best in.

When soft tissue is injured — a sprain, a strain, a post-operative site — the body's repair process needs supplies delivered and waste cleared. Swelling and congestion get in the way of both. Tissue recovery sessions are designed around that simple idea: clear the congestion, calm the area, and let the body work.

What a session can draw on

  • Low level laser therapy — non-thermal light applied directly to the affected area. It is painless and non-invasive: you feel the device against your skin, but no heat, sound or vibration. Kylie has used it across sports injuries, sprains and post-operative sites for many years, and completed device training with Multi Radiance and Raincorp.
  • Manual lymphatic drainage where swelling is present — particularly useful in acute injuries where the area is too swollen and tender for ordinary massage, such as a freshly sprained ankle.
  • Remedial massage around the affected area once the tissue is ready for it, to address the compensating and guarding muscles that build up around an injury.
  • Hivamat deep oscillation through the recovering tissue.
